By either filling in an online manifest or uploading a file a customer can pre-alert
a new job into the Greystone system. This begins the tracking process for the mail.
When the mail is received in the warehouse, it is acknowledged in the system and
begins the sorting process. The system routes each piece based on the best price
using country, format, weight and in some cases, content. The piece is then manifested
to the country of destination on the next consignment. |
